Product Price Lookup lets you check the current sell price, cost and stock on hand for any product without opening an invoice. This article explains where to find it and how to use it.
Unlock Efficiency with Price Lookup! When importing catalogues of parts your stock list can easily become unwieldy and dilute your searches. To keep your growing stock list under control you can mark products as "Price Lookup". This will remove the product from your general searches but keep it easily accessible when searching the whole Item Code. This feature is tailor-made for workshops dealing with extensive parts catalogues and ensures all of your product information is accessible when you need it. 1. Navigate to the product you wish to modify by going to Products > enter the part number in the search > select the item
2. Look for the Price Lookup option and switch it to "Yes." Click Save.
3. Once saved, you're all set! Now, simply search for the part, and the price will be readily available.
Good to Know
- Make sure you click Save after making your changes. If you navigate away before saving, your changes will be lost.
- Use the product search bar to quickly locate the product you need by name or part number.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this change affect existing invoices that already include this product?
No. Existing invoices and job cards retain the product details as they were at the time the invoice was created. This change only applies when the product is used on future invoices.
