MYOB Error Access Denied

The MYOB 'Access Denied' error means the MYOB user you authenticated with does not have Administrator rights. This article explains the two authentication screens and how to resolve the error.

Event log showing a MYOB upload failure with the message Access denied If you are getting the above message , you didn't put the right details into your login when authenticating with MYOB in Workshop Software. When authenticating, you will get 2 screens: 1) The below screen is where you enter your MYOB login details. This needs to have access to the company file. The login used here MUST HAVE ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS. If it does not have this, then it will come up with the above error when you try to sync.
