Why is my mechanic performance report missing information or is blank

The purpose of this article is to explain why your Mechanic Performance Report is either blank or has missing mechanics.

The cause of this issue is not having a cost applied to your mechanic(s).

1. Click on Employees on the left hand navigation menu in Workshop Software

2. Then click on ‘Mechanics’

3. Select a mechanic that is missing from the report. If your report is blank you will have to check all mechanics.

Enter the business’ cost to have the mechanic work on a job. ie. what they are paid per hour.

This cost figure is needed for the report to base it’s profit figures off. Without a cost, the report has no information to populate the report with.

If you have followed the above steps and there is still no information on the Mechanics Performance Report, make sure that mechanic’s hours are being recorded against the job.
