How To Integrate Burson Version 2

The Burson Integration offers a seamless way to streamline job creation and part ordering within Workshop Software. With this integration, you can:

  • Create a job or quote, then log directly into your Burson account to check part prices.
  • Add parts to your order and return them to Workshop Software.
  • Once a quote is approved, order the parts directly from Workshop Software without switching tabs or copying item numbers.

Requirements for Integration

To integrate Burson Version 2 with Workshop Software, you will need:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Account Number

Step-by-Step Integration Process

Log in to Workshop Software

Navigate to Integrations > Automotive Integration > Burson.

  1. Activate Burson Integration
    • You’ll see a prompt to activate Burson. Click the green ‘Activate Burson’ button to proceed.

  1. Switch to Burson Version 2
    • At the top-right corner, toggle from Legacy to Version 2.

  1. Select or Create a Burson Supplier
    • Choose an existing Burson supplier in Workshop Software or create a new one if necessary.

  1. Enter Required Credentials
    • Enter your Username, Password, and Account Number.

  1. Select Price Option
    • Use the drop-down box to select your Price Option.
    • Note: This choice will update the prices in Workshop Software accordingly.

  1. Save Your Settings
    • Click Save to complete the integration setup.
