Workshop Software Update December 2017

Another cool update from Workshop Software which includes a number of new improvements and features that will make your Workshop Software experience even better.

This update includes a number small but cool things that have been added into the system.

These include changes to the way that the Auto Inspect tool is used. The inspections can now be printed, along with improved templated emails for better communication with your clients. You can now also access the inspections from the customer.

The build date has been updated so that you can optionally only enter a year. Previously you needed to enter a month and year.

For our clients in the UK, we have also released a vehicle lookup system where you can enter a vehicle registration, click search, and it will return all the details on the vehicle such as Make, Model, VIN, Dates, etc.

We have added Burson EzyParts integration into the Booking Diary. Previously this was available only in the Invoice/Job Card. This will make life much easier when you are creating the bookings and wanting to get all set-up with the right parts, prices, or log book service.

The SMS feature now has the option to include the customer name. Simply put in the customer name placeholder into the SMS set-up and the system will put the name into the message for you. This provides better customer service and a more professional workshop.
