Meet the team! Jackson Orchard: Workshop Software Customer Success Manager

Jackson’s job as Customer Success Manager for Workshop Software involves a day to day routine calling up to check in with subscribers to find out how they are using the software and if there is anything he can do to help those customers get more value and benefit out of their subscription by using the wide range of features more effectively and efficiently.

He takes this time as an opportunity to find out and understand any pain points the customers may have with their business operations and make any recommendations that will aid and assist in resolving their particular issues.

What do you seeas the key benefits of the product?

The key benefits I see that Workshop Software offering businesses is its time-saving ability and the provision of increased understanding and management of business processes.

The program streamlines your day-to-day operations and is the ‘one-stop shop’ for any workshop owner because you can take bookings, order parts, issue invoices and pay suppliers all without ever having to go to another program.

Which features do subscribers mention as the biggest help to their business?

The features that I regularly hear our subscribers rave about would be the automated service and booking reminders, the ability to communicate with their customers in bulk and the phone app so that they can run a modern, paperless operation.

How do you recommend the product and help automotive store owners?

I recommend automotive store owners take the time to explore all the features that Workshop Software offers because sometimes the small simple features get overlooked and often these can have profound impacts on their business.

Outside of that, the main features I think can have a great impact on bringing in new customers and retaining current customers would be the Auto Inspect Tool, Communication Centre, Vehicle Visuals and vvGarage and the Online Booking Diary.

What do you like to do in your spare time? 

In my spare time I like to work on my 4WD and plan my next adventure with the missus or mates. I’m also not averse to going for a fish and a couple of cheeky cold ones with the fellas.

Which elements of living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches do you enjoy?

I really like the relaxed attitude of the beaches and that we’re just out of the ‘hustle and bustle’ but not too far away for when I do need to head ‘back to town’.

What’s a quality film, book, show, doco, game you have watched or played recently?

I recently watched ‘My Octopus Teacher’ which I thought had some great videography and found it fascinating that old mate could track and follow that octopus around day-to-day.

What’s your dream holiday, post COVID?

My dream holiday would be to take a road trip with my girlfriend around Australia and find some pearler camping spots along the way.
