This morning Workshop Software has been impacted by activity of a third party which resulted in an extremely large quantity of emails being deliberately generated from a trial Workshop Software account.
This is not an internal issue with the software but we have had to take steps to stop further adverse activity of this type.
The ability to send emails has been restricted while this issue is resolved.
We can confirm that there is no impact on the security of customer data and we expect to have this disruption resolved in the next 24 hours.
We recognise the impact this may have on your business and will provide further updates throughout the day.
While we work on getting emails back to normal, I thought it might help to provide you with a workaround.
If you want to email an invoice from Workshop Software, you can print the invoice to screen, download the invoice to your computer as a PDF, then email that PDF from your normal email program.
We understand this is not optimal, however, we wanted to provide you a way that you can get the job done, even though it’s not as efficient as normal.
